Beer in the Krkonoše Mountains (Czech Republic)
The Krkonoše Mountains are a geomorphological complex and the highest mountains of the Czech Republic and the Bohemian Highlands. It lies in northeastern Bohemia (the western part is in the Liberec Region, the eastern part in the Hradec Králové Region) and in the southern part of the Polish part of Silesia (in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship).
The highest mountain in the Krkonoše Mountains and in the whole Czech Republic is Sněžka (1603 m above sea level) and since 17 May 1963 the Krkonoše National Park has been located in this mountain range.
According to legend, the mountain is guarded by the mythical spirit of Krakonoš.
