Bergen (Norway)

Deep within Norway's astonishing landscapes of mountains and fjords is the small city of Bergen. What was originally a small trading post has grown over the centuries into the cultural capital of Norway.

Bergen is Norway's second largest city, which earned its nickname because of frequent rain. The old town of Bryggen, which is interesting for its unique colourful architecture, will certainly attract the attention of tourists. Visiting Bergen also offers countless opportunities for hiking in the surrounding hills and valleys, and cross-country skiing and other winter sports in winter. It is also the right place for admirers of the Norwegian fjords, where visitors can go by boat from Bergen.
