Malokarpatské múzeum v Pezinku (Slovakia)
The Small Carpathian Museum in Pezinok is a regional museum focused on viticulture and winemaking in the Small Carpathians. It is housed in a Renaissance house from the 17th century. The building and the exhibitions have undergone several renovations so that today we can offer you a presentation of our history in a modern way and through an experience. In addition, we organize a number of cultural, social, educational, or artistic activities for several target groups.
The Small Carpathian Museum in Pezinok currently offers two permanent experiential exhibitions - The Story of Wine and The History of Viticulture and Winemaking under the Small Carpathians. In them, we will introduce you to the largest collection of wine presses in Europe and provide you with interesting information about viticulture and winemaking in the environment of the Small Carpathians. The tour is complemented by interactive elements such as a drunkenness simulator, an aroma bar, a bottle stopper, a grating table, and more. The big news we have in the museum is the Story of Wine - a unique 3D relief of the Small Carpathians with a video presentation of the 2000-year history of viticulture and winemaking in the Small Carpathians region, and Klara's Press - a true story of tears, happiness and wine, thanks to which we will be transported to the past and hear and see the story of winemaker Jozef Janáč, who had a difficult journey to become a great winemaker.
