Neveklov (Czech Republic)
The picturesque landscape, clean environment, the proximity of the Slap dam and good transport connections are the advantages of this part of the Benešov hills in the wedge between the Vltava and Sázava rivers.
The tragic fate of the territory seized during the Second World War hampered the further development of Neveklov, so that it later became a centre municipality from the status of a former judicial district.
At present, Neveklov has 2,350 inhabitants. A large part of them work in agriculture, others commute to the surrounding area or to the capital city.
